The Highland Fling

Paul Barr is competing in this gruelling ultra to raise funds for the Tayside Mountain Rescue Team. 2023 saw the busiest 12 months in their 57-year history with 96 call outs. This is a 72% increase from the previous year. The service relies primarily on donations from the public to enable them to help those in danger.

This is a point-to-point race along the southern section of the West Highland Way. The route follows “The Way” along Loch Lomond & through the Trossachs National Park from Milgavie to Tyndrum.
